The Premier League returns with big fixtures this weekend as the fight for the top of the table still goes high between Liverpool and Manchester City.

Liverpool temporarily lost the top of the Premier League table to Manchester City during midweek following Manchester city 2-0 win over Everton.

However, the rest of the teams except the duo in City and Everton all have a game in hand.

Premier League fixtures this weekend

Fulham vs Manchester United

This is a game that will be less interesting, however Solskjaer’s unbeaten run will be the thing to look out for.

Fulham are deep in the relegation zone and there are no signs of  improvement in the teams performance.

Manchester United have the upper hand in the encounter at Craven Cottage.

Watford vs Everton

Enough of the noise from Troy Deeny and former manager. The two teams are average but Everton have a better scorecard this season.

Despite loosing to Premier League title hopeful Manchester city in midweek, Everton have a chance to bounce back against a Watford side that hasn’t gotten  better results in recent matches.

Southampton Vs Cardiff

A resurgent side under the guidance of Ralph Hassenhutl, continue to rise from the drop zone to a decent position.

The saints started poor, but since the appointment of the former RB Leipzig coach, the teams fortune has changed.

The saints have drawn two games in a row and are currently on 16th place on the Premier League table.

Liverpool AFC Bournemouth

The fixture with the most eyes this weekend as Liverpool title hopes may be on the line.

Liverpool have drawn two straight games which paved way for Manchester city to leapfrog them to the top.

AFC Bournemouth , an unpredictable side may stand as an obstacle to Liverpool’s title ambitions.

AFC Bournemouth thrashed Chelsea 4-0 to give other teams a warning about their offensive threat.

Huddersfield vs Arsenal

Bottom on the Premier League table couldn’t get better the way it is for Huddersfield and loosing heavily to Chelsea last weekend as Eden Hazard and Higuain made the headlines.

Arsenal’s blunder at the back showed up last week when they lost to Manchester city with Aguero getting his hat trick.

Arsenal are still the favourites.

Crystal Palace vs West ham

West ham and Crystal Palace are two teams that spring up surprises against the big sides in the Premier League.

Prediction 1-1

Brighton vs Burnley

It was a great experience for Brigthon during midweek as they came out victors against West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup replay.

Burnley fought their way out of the drop zone and are currently placed 17th with 24 points just two points above the drop zone.

Burnley need a decent result against Brighton to keep their hopes alive.

Tottenham vs Leicester city

Tottenham’s position in the top four is currently at stake and they’ll need to improve fast if they hope to remain within that zone.

Injuries surrounding the club has since stalled their fine run.

Leicester city are winless in five games and their are big concerns about the future of their coach, Claude Puel at the club.

The club have lost three of their last four Premier League games.

Manchester city vs Chelsea

Another tough encounter this weekend as Manchester city’s title hopes will be tested at the Etihad stadium.

The cityzens are currently top of the table with goal difference and a game ahead of the rest in the league

Chelsea cruised to a 5-0 win over Huddersfield last week and are currently on a good form.

Chelsea are expected to give their all against Manchester city.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Newcastle United

Brilliant Wolverhampton Wanderers are currently at the top of their game after beating Everton 1-3 last week in the Premier League and a 3-2 win over Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup replay.

The action packed Premier League weekend starts from Saturday.
