Akwa united returned to their best form getting two wins in two games. The Promise keepers failed to hit the ground running at the start of the season.

It was the first back-to-back wins for Raphael Everton since he jonining Akwa united and his best result so far.

Gombe united 5-2 Nasarawa united

Although never expected, but Gombe united outclassed Nasarawa united by scoring five goals past Nasarawa defence to become to first team with five goals in a match this season.
