Manchester united Academy graduate Scott McTominay have signed a new contract that will keep him at Manchester united till June 2023 with option of extension making the young scottish player remain at old trafford.

McTominay became a regular in Manchester united first team during Mourinho’s era.

The scottish international has been a bright star in the midst of his fellow academy graduates.

McTominay, a central midfielder signing a new contract has created more options for caretaker manager Ole Gunar Solskjaer.

Due to his brilliant role in Manchester united first team during Mourinho’s era he was callled up by his national team and has since made five appearances.

After the contract papers were signed, Scott McTominay said;

Manchester United has been my life since the age of five and playing for the club I’ve always supported is all I’ve ever wanted to do. “I’m still young and I’m learning all the time from the manager, his coaching staff and from the world-class players in the squad.” I can’t wait to continue my progress at this great club. “

Scott could not hide his joy after signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club for a long period of time.

Solskjaer said he was that the midfielder signed a contract extension.
