Leeds united head coach Marcelo bielsa has expressed his disappointment on the team’s loss to Stoke city at the Bet365 stadium on saturday, sitevanguard gathered.
In a game the whites should have won to increase the gap at the top of the log, stoke got two goals from Sam Clucas and Allen to steal the win for the potters.
The head coach of Leeds united Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media after their defeat in the hands of stoke city.
“It was a game that we could have won, that was reachable.
We had the ball, we arrived easily in the last part of the pitch but in spite of this we couldn’t arrive in the box enough.”
Bielsa blamed lack of clinical finish on the part of his players for the loss to Stoke city which have mounted more pressure on the whites.
Bielsa also said that the team were never afraid of the offenses Stoke city gave in the encounter. The white had their player sent off in the 77 minute after picking two yellow cards.
Leeds united could have easily won the encounter if they had converted the chances that came their way but poor finish in the final third turned out to be their punishment.
