Colombian international striker, James Rodriguez is expected to turn down a move to Arsenal to stay back at Bayern Munich till the end of the season.

The striker who joined Real Madrid from AS Monaco could not settle in Real’s first team when Zidane was in charge of the spanish giants.

The striker however opted to move on loan to German champions FC Bayern Munich and have since played 32 times scoring 10 goals.

The recent news surrounding the colombian striker may not end on a good note as ESPN reported that the striker has choosen to stay back at Bayern instead of a move away.

His contract at Bayern is due to expire in six months however Bayern haven’t shown any interest of keeping the striker at the club.

The loan deal had an option of a permanent deal if Bayern is willing to pay €42M to the initial €15M loan fee.

Clubs interested in signing the colombian international include Arsenal FC, Tottenham and Napoli.

Rodriguez was a shining light during his stay at french side AS Monaco before moving to Real Madrid for £68 Million.
