Bristol City assistant manager, Dean Holding believes the supporters of the club can cheer them to victory in their FA Cup fourth round clash with fellow Championship side Bolton Wanderers.

The assistant coach is optimistic on getting a better result in the evening against Bolton.

Holding said: The FA
Cup is a fantastic competition. I’m sure we have
all got our own memories of it, whether you are a
supporter, a player or a member of staff. Even the
foreign lads this week have been talking about what an amazing competition it is, so we are really looking forward to Friday night under the lights at Ashton Gate.

“Games under the lights take me back to when I was younger and to some of the cup games. You’d have an FA Cup replay, then there would be a second reply – it’s incredible to think how many games players played, but they are the memories I had as a young kid.

The assist manager still reflects on the clubs memories playing in the evenings of an FA Cup tie.

Bristol City welcome Bolton Wanderers on on friday evening.
