Aubameyang opened scoring for Arsenal in 66th minute through a spot kick to give Arsenal an edge in the clash with Cardiff city.

The game started off with a minute applause for Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala alongside the pilot whose plane got missing a couple days ago.

At first half, the teams fired blank after numerous attempts from the two sides ended up at nothing.

The two sides returned to the field of play knowing what was at stake.

Arsenal finally got off the hook when Manga took out Sead Kolasinac in 66 minute.

Aubameyang stepped up to take the spot kick and made no mistake as he cooly placed the ball down the middle of Etheridge’s goal post.

A minute later, substitute Alex Iwobi almost doubled the lead for Arsenal but Etheridge was there to stop the ball from going in.

The two teams played and end to end stuff before Lacazette handed the Gunners their second goal of the night after driving the ball into box.

Three minutes later Aaron Ramsey could not guide his header as the chance went begging for Arsenal to increase their lead to three.

The visitors got their consolation goal deep in stoppage.
