Aubameyang and Alex Iwobi could not save Arsenal as they lost 1-3 to Manchester united in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round clash on Friday night.

The two teams played well in encounter but the goals went in favour of the Manchester united.

Manchester united took the lead in the encounter courtesy two quickfire goals from Alexis Sanchez and Lingard in the space of two minutes.

Aubameyang reduced the deficit ten minutes later through Lacazette assist before the break.

The two teams played well however it was more like Arsenal were at all sides trying to get to Manchester united back line.

Arsenal were nailed when Anthony Martial scored to give Manchester United

the winner.

Aubameyang’s goal was the only goal scored by Arsenal on the night.

At the start of the game, Aubameyang was no where to be found, but gradually he settled into the game.

Aubameyang’s real involvement in the encounter for Arsenal came  when Lacazette provided the assist which he scored to reduce the deficit before the break.

However before the final whistle for half half went off, Alex Iwobi provided a cross to Aubameyang which he taped in at the back post.

Aubameyang continued on his performance until the game came to an end. (5.7 rating).

Alex Iwobi was a better player against Manchester united.

Iwobi was involved in several passes and crosses to Aubameyang.

Iwobi was everywhere for Arsenal, his passes, crosses were good but his teammates could not utilize them.

Iwobi was a better player in the midfielder for Arsenal, winning ball possessions.

The Nigerian did the best he could on the night but luck never favoured the midfielder and his teammates, loosing to Manchester united at the end.

With this loss, Arsenal has crash out of the Emirates FA Cup, a competition they’ve won 13 times in the past.
