Primeira Liga: Porto 4-1 Portimonense, Porto extend stay at summit

FC porto extended their stay at the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga on Friday night after they defeated visiting Portimonense by 4-1.

The visitors knew that coming into the game will mean alot for them if they can surprise their host. But FC Porto never looked like gamers.

FC Porto started off with Moussa Marega’s effort saved by the goalkeeper however FC Porto where schocked as they conceded first to Portimonense through Vitor Tormena header.

Portimonense lead was cut shot after Moussa Marega scored with his head to put the match at level terms. Porto started the second half on a bright note as Soares scored to put Porto in front.

Algeria’s Yacine Brahimi extended the lead to three with a 59′ goal. Porto completed the goal massacre as Moussa Marega bagged his brace in the night.

With this win FC Porto extend their stay at the top of the summit.

Moussa Marega provided an outstanding performance to bag his brace for FC Porto. Moussa Marega has now score 5 goals for FC Porto in 10 appearances.
