Ligue 1: Falcao leads Monaco to a win over Amiens SC

Colombian striker who has been linked with a move away from Monaco rose to the occasion with two second half goals to give hope to the Ligue 1 strugglers. Monaco a sensational football club in the last four seasons sold most of its promising players to bigger club and got a reward for their sale.

The principality club has struggled ever since the season started leading to the sack of their coach and the appointment of French Legend Thierry Henry as the new Manager.

The two strikes from Falcao was as a result of a penalty call by the referee when a Monaco attacking player was brought down in the 43 minute. Falcao converted the penalty and gave the visitors the lead.

Monaco however held on to their lead until the final 7 minute in added time of the second when a player was brought down for the second time. Monaco currently sit 17 position on the log
