Eredivisie: Van Persie on target as Feyenoord beat VVV

Robin van persie was on target as his side recorded a convincing 4-1 victory over visiting VVV. The home team Feyenoord started the game on impressive note as they produced a twelveth minute impressive show when “Sam Larsson fired a shot which was blocked by VVV defence.

Feyenoord almost instantly produced another quickfire show as “De Kuip and Clasie” combined to produce a strike and again blocked by the ambitious VVV defence. With the push, Feyenoord continued to push forward untill they where rewarded with a goal from Tonny Vilhena (Goal 28′).

However the match just got started as former Arsenal and Manchester United star Robin Van Persie got his goal thus extending the lead for the home side (Goal Van Persie 32′).

Feyenoord kept on pressing for more goals but they could not register another goal untill the game was restarded for the second half as Lasrsson finally got his goal after several attempts to register his goal. (Larsson G 55′)

Larson scored his brace to boost his team’s status on the log with a 75 MIN goal with an assist from Vente.

Susic produced the consolation goal for the visitors in the 58 minute.

Robin Van Persie 35, now has 7 goals for his club in 14 league appearances.
Feyenoord now sit 3rd on the log after 11 matches
