A-League: Perth Glory go top of the summit after Melbourne city win

Perth Glory FC defeated Melbourne City to climb up to the summit of the Australian A League.

Courtsey of Ikonomidis 43rd minute goal, the team from Perth now lead the league with 17 points after 7 games.

Although Melbourne City where reduced tp 10- men they still managed to keep a clean sheet to claim the valuable 3 points.

Perth Glory has enjoyed a fine start to the 2018/19 A-League season recording three wins in their last four matches, now making it five games un-beaten run for the club.

Ikonomidis goal was enought to hand Tony Popovic men a valuable 3 points and a place at the top of the league. Impressive performance has shown that Perth Glory can challenge for the title this season with their current form.
