Gacha has become the first shuttle in history capable of withstanding weather conditions such as rain, sun and snow. The Gacha robot shuttle which was developed by Sensible 4 and muji, was developed with the aim of withstanding the weather conditions that the average vehicle on the street faces.
The Gacha shuttle is a driver less shuttle that is capable of withstanding all sorts of weather conditions unlike other driver less vehicles that faces some obstacles during bad weather condition. They shared their success on the project on Wednesday that they successfully developed an autonomous vehicle capable of withstanding all weather conditions.
The driverless shuttle is expected to hit the public domain starting from next year March. Thereafter the driver less shuttle will be used as a passenger carrier in some cities in Finland. The full set of shuttles will be available in 2020.
The Gacha robot shuttle is expected to be used as full commercial service starting from 2021 after the full fleets have been produced.
The two parties collaborated towards working for the success of the project. With this, the shuttle is capable of withstanding weather conditions like fog, hails, snow, sun etc. With an LED light which functions as Headlights.
