Eredivisie: Excelsior 3-3 Utrecht, Great comeback seals valuable
The Dutch Eredivisie opened up this weekend with a thrilling encounter that produced over 6 goals in the two halfs. The first half was a total dominace by the home team thus produced 3 goals in the process.
However the game turned the other way round as the visitors came back to shock their host with a thrilling three goals to draw level. Utrecht produced the 3 goals under the space of 9 (MIN) to steal a valuable point back to their home.
Excelsior was wasteful at the back as they surrendered a precious 3 points they’ve already gotten. In the first half, the game turned out to become a one sided affair. However we where treated to a surprise as the visitors stuned their host to deny them of the full 3 points.
Excelsior got their first goal in the 6 (MIN) through E. Ómarsson with an assist by J. Schouten. The home side also recorded the second goal courtsey of R. Koolwijk in the 8 (MIN) assisted by L. Bruins. L. Bruins also got his own fair share from the penalty spot in the 26 (MIN) to put his side ahead.
