New Image Sensor Now Uses Backside Illumination
OmniVision yesterday unveiled new image sensors that uses a backslide Illumination together with a 1080p and 2K resolution to help the cameras of IoT security and industries. The new invention is an improvement in the sensors of security cameras.
The company unveiled the new products at the Security China Show were every one got a clue on the performance of the new sensors. The new sensors will be part of the 2-micron image sensors family.
According to omivision, the cameras offer a cost effective camera solutions to industries which uses the Backside Illumination process in a bid to produce high definition images to IoT industries, residents etc.
The company during the design of the sensors had in mind the solution it will provide to surveillance operations having a 3.6 Mega Pixels resolution which includes streaming at the rate of 30 fps.
The previous method used by IoT system are now history with the introduction of the new Backside Illumination system. The previous frontside did offer better but the backside illumination offers more than the frontside.
The introduction of this system will improve the camera solutions in industries, at home and in the workplace offering the best security solutions to private individuals and companies.
